This Time *We* Win: Greenhill Farm Closed

Grenhill was an Italian dog-breeding farm which sold animals for vivisection. Innocent beagles would grow up under extremely harsh conditions, only to be sold to laboratories and have their lives ended under the knife of science.

Greenhill farm was not able to silence the voices of contempt and finally backed down due to the pressure of people, animal activist raids, protests and petitions signed throughout the last years. 2,500 beagles were freed in a large-scale raid carried out by local law officials and protestors together.

The examples have been set. Now it's time to take the fight worldwide!

Sometimes it's all you CAN do

Sometimes mokey wrenching (= to disrupt, sabotage) is all you can do to keep your serentity in this fucked up system and get back to the fuckers who try to steal everything from everyone. It is just something that SHOULD be done if you think things out there suck and you have no power to change them.... Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd, Earth Liberation Front, ALF... all these groups monkey wrench and we should too bring it in our personal action EVERYWHERE. I'm not going to tell anyone how, but the possibilities are really endless. Otherwise, we can just bow our heads and accept what they have in store for us.

If I go down, at least I want to go down knowing that I gave them hell.

Κάποιες φορές, αυτό που στα αγγλικά ονομάζεται monkey wrenching (δηλαδή να κάνεις σαμποτάζ, να παρακωλύεις μια διαδικασία κλπ) είναι το μόνο που μπορούμε να κάνουμε για να διατηρήσουμε τη λογική μας και να πάρουμε λίγη εκδίκηση από αυτούς που θέλουν να μας κλέβουν τα πάντα. Είναι κάτι που ΠΡΕΠΕΙ να γίνει από όποιον πιστεύει ότι τα πράγματα δεν πάνε καθόλου καλά κι ότι δεν έχει τη δύναμη να τα αλλάξει. Οργανισμοί όπως η Greenpeace, το Sea Shepherd, το Earth Liberation Front, το ALF κλπ, χρησιμοποιούν το monkey wrenching και θα πρέπει κι εμείς να κάνουμε το ίδιο στις προσωπικές μας ζωές. Δεν μπορώ να πω εγώ σε κανέναν το πώς, αλλά οι ευκαιρίες είναι πραγματικά ατελείωτες. Διαφορετικά, μπορούμε απλά να σκύψουμε το κεφάλι και να δεχτούμε χωρίς άρνηση αυτά που μας δίνουν.
