It seems logical that if we want to live a caring life, we have to re-evaluate what the media and the industries have been feeding us. Everywhere you go in the world, the slaughtering of animals is cartoonified and animals are made to look happy, when the reality is obviously completely different. Can a dead animal really be happy? Here is an interesting article from One Green Planet entitled Making the Vegan Connection. Ιt is a bit academic oriented but is a good read on the moral issue of meat eating and veganism!

Εφόσον θέλουμε να λέμε ότι νοιαζόμαστε, πρέπει να επανεξετάσουμε όσα μας ταΐζουν (γιατί περί ταΐσματος πρόκειται) τα ΜΜΕ και οι βιομηχανία. Όπου και αν πάτε ανά τον κόσμο, τα νεκρά ζώα γίνόνται καρτούν και παριστάνουν ότι είναι χαρούμενα στις βιτρίνες και στις διαφημίσεις, όταν η πραγματικότητα προφανώς είναι εντελώς διαφορετική. Πώς μπορεί ένα νεκρό ζώο να είναι χαρούμενο; Παραθέτουμε ένα ενδιαφέρον άρθρο από το site One Green Planet που λέγεται Making the Vegan Connection (στα αγγλικά). Αν και θυμίζει λίγο άρθρο ακαδημαϊκού τύπου, είναι μια σημαντική πηγή για την ηθική της κρεοφαγίας και του βιγκανισμού.
